AerData Acquires Aircraft Management Solutions, Supplier of the ALCA Software

Amsterdam, The Netherlands; February 13, 2009 - AerData, the Amsterdam/Netherlands-based provider of software and back office services for aircraft asset managers announced today that it has in principle agreed to acquire its competitor Aircraft Management Solutions (“AMS”). AMS is the developer and supplier of the ALCA Software, an aviation lease and asset management application, and is a provider of related services for the aviation industry. The transaction is subject to execution of the purchase agreement and closing.

Commenting on the agreement, Paul van Tol, Managing Director of AerData said: “By incorporating AMS, AerData will expand its worldwide customer base of leading banks, leasing companies and consultants to a total of 30. The combination of both entities will also deliver synergies for both existing and future customers, and it will give us the opportunity to further enhance our products and services.”

As part of the agreement, Jaap van Dijk, Managing Director of AMS, will join AerData as Director Marketing and Sales.Jaap van Dijk commented on the transaction: “With the integration of our complementary strengths, we will create a new dimension to our services for the leasing business that will enable aircraft owners and managers, banks and airlines to manage their portfolios more efficiently and effectively.”
